Product Description BioBands are the only adjustable acupressure wristband that is patented and has FDA marketing clearance for relief of nausea associated with: Travel (Motion Sickness), Pregnancy (Morning Sickness), Anesthesia (Post-Surgery), Chemotherapy.
BioBands are not like the restrictive elastic type bands that usually fit too loose or tight. Whether choosing adult or child sizes, BioBands adjustable construction fits all wrist sizes properly and comfortably for better effectiveness. Its hook and loop fastener and solid construction hold up even in salt water! An added plus is that with BioBands precise adjustability you need to only wear ONE band for optimum results. All other travel bands require wearing two bands per use. BioBands are the preferred choice with scuba divers, sailors and sports enthusiasts. It works naturally!

This product is a Joke! August 26, 2010 Go Green I bought this since one of my cousins used to get nauseated (specially while travelling). I was hoping for a little more than a velcro bands for the price! I later have had the feeling I could have picked up a couple of velcro bands @ the departmental store for much less. It doesn't help since my cousin has not been any better using these (I understand its a pressure point thing, and she did consult people using similar things). All in all its been a major disappointment and since I gave 'em to her, I didn't get to return these! Better check out such bands in person and then order from Amazon (or the Internet for that matter).
BioBand efficacy August 15, 2010 Susan Traynor (Niles, MI, US) Purchased this on 08/09/10 from Amazon just hoping it would help my husband with his chemo induced nausea.
He's been going through gazillions of Lorazapam and Compozine on a daily basis. When I retrieved this from the mail box today (could have been delivered yesterday!) and put it on him, he didn't need any anti-nausea meds. That is until he took it off after I told him it could be used as an "needed basis".
Yes, it works on this individual person for this particular problem :chemo induced nausea.
Once, back in place, it is working and will hopefully all night.
Will switch arms to the right if the effect wears off on his left arm.
Always have believed in alternative treatments like acupressure and acupunture. Why? Because those modalities always worked on my animals who have no preconceived notions.

It works. July 25, 2010 Meno (Washington, DC) I get motion sickness in every type of transportation except my own feet! So, I bought this before a cruise expecting a disaster. I used this every day and although it worked I still needed to take half a pill to feel perfect. However, I caution that I'm really an extreme case of motion sickness so I think it works pretty great. I've been using it when flying too, specially for long flights and I feel so much better. I recently bought another to give to a sick relative, so I'll update if it works for her.
In summary I recommend it, it helps but if you have a severe problem of motion sickness it might help to have a packet of pills just in case.
Update: my sick relative suffers from motion sickness caused by fibromyalgia. She started using the band and her motion sickness improved although it didn't disappear. Curiously the pain on her wrist caused by the same disease was greatly improved by the band. I know the band isn't supposed to be for that but the doctor said it helped with the swelling and hence reduced the pain.
Outstanding service! July 6, 2010 Pro Two (NY) I placed my order on June 28, 2010 and received it on July 2, 2010! That is outstanding service!
Dont waste your money June 3, 2010 K. Barnes (Huntsville, AL) This item did not work at all. I tried wearing it for over two weeks and I was still nauseous the entire time. Kept wearing it for another two weeks and it still didnt work. Should have saved my money for something more worthwile. Save your money!!!
