yummy and they work February 16, 2010 K. Grasty They are a bit expensive considering they are basically just naturally flavored/colored candy drops, but I felt that the expense was worth it. They definitely work and each flavor is a flavor that helps with the nausea. You could just go and buy a lemon drop with real lemon oil (works just as well), but you'll probably get a chemical food coloring in there, and you will eventually tire of the lemon flavor all day.
meh December 3, 2009 L. Ker (PA) Someone said that these are really just giving you a placebo effect, and I'm inclined to agree. Since they're so sweet I think that they might have given me a little boost when I was too nauseous to eat, but other than that, they really didn't help with my nausea at all. What really worked for me was eating what sounded most appealing straight away in the morning, even if it wasn't the most healthy alternative (regular old popsicles or a frozen fruit juice, not concentrate, worked wonders). Try some ginger chews or GinGins by The Ginger People for a more helpful alternative to Preggie Pops or Preggie Pop Drops.
okay product. November 23, 2009 James Hegi (Outside Boston, MA) Taste like candy. didn't always cure morning sickness... more of a placebo effect than anything.
Preggie Drops August 28, 2009 L. Carter (PSL, FL) What a life saver...when I felt nauseous, I sucked on a preggie drop and the feeling went away really quickly. The four different flavors are sour but so worth the results.
Too Much Money for Something You Can Find in the Store July 2, 2009 C. Harmon I bought this in a desperation to find something to ease my morning sickness. When I was slightly nauseated, I would pop one of these in. I expected there to be something in them that would ease my stomach. Nope. I felt no difference at all. I read other reviews and read that any other candy would work just as well. After trying them, it is true! It is just candy. Jolly Ranchers would work exactly the same, with half the cost!
Also, with really bad nausea, I couldn't even put one in my mouth! My mouth would start watering and I would feel like I could throw-up immediately.
They just sit in my kitchen now, while I use other ways to ease my stomach.
