Morning Sickness Relief April 13, 2010 Chrisy I was given a pair of these years ago with my 1st pregnancy, but never used them- I just never felt sick. But, now pregnant with our 2nd, I am miserable! Feeling sick nearly all day, every day. I put a pair of these on about 3 hours ago, not thinking they would have a significant effect. Within 2 minutes, I felt a little better. Happy with even a slight bit of relief, I kept them on- and for the past few hours I have felt so good! I was able to run my normal errands and have a smile on my face! These are just great! Please get these if you are suffering from morning sickness- they really do work!

I have had morning/all day sickness for over 12 weeks. I have tried medicines prescribed by my OBGYN and nothing has helped me. I have been throwing up between 8 and 10 times a day. I was researching morning sickness online and came across the Sea Band and I thought for $10 I would give it a try....I am will to try anything to help me feel better. I bought the Sea Band and within 5 minutes my nausea was completely gone. This is my second day with them on and I've only been sick 1 time....1 time instead of 10! I wish I would have known about this product 12 weeks ago!
How long does it take them to work? July 19, 2007 Vickie Nelson (Fort Wayne, Indiana) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I just got these and put them on. I'm not sure if I was expecting instant relief, but I don't feel any different yet. I'm suffering from severe nausea from morning sickness and I'm desperate for relief. How long does it take these things to work?? I can't seem to find that answer any where.
So much relief, for so little money! May 22, 2007 edave 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have Menieres disease which causes me to have tremendous bouts with nausea.
I've tried all sorts of medications with little or no success. Finally in desperation, I bought a pair of Sea-Bands. Now whenever I feel nauseaus I put on the Sea-Bands and usually with an hour the nauseaus feeling is gone!
They've Changed My Life July 4, 2006 S. Humma (Georgia USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I don't want to be indelicate, but I am a puker. I have been very susceptible to nausea and motion sickness since I was a kid. I couldn't ride anything more adventurous than the ferris wheel without paying a horrible price. Both of my pregnancies (18+ years ago) resulted in nine months of nausea. My first couple of overseas flights (back when they let people smoke on the plane--which did NOT help my queasiness) included the lovely experience of using one of those air sickness bags. You get the picture. I asked a doctor to prescribe scopolamine patches back in the late eighties--and they worked--mainly by drugging me senseless so that I slept during the flight and spent my first few hours on land in a fog. Plus--one girl in our group made the mistake of touching her scopolamine patch and rubbing her eyes, ending up with dilated pupils for several hours. I don't know WHEN or WHERE I discovered Sea Bands several years ago, but for ME they work AMAZINGLY well. I can actually fly in a plane now and look out the window at the landscape. I can ride in a car in the back seat and sometimes even read a newspaper or magazine. The bands are comfortable, machine washable, and they WORK. I put them on at the start of any car or airplane trip. If I find myself feeling a little queasy, I simply apply a little pressure to the button on my inner wrist. I love the fact that a simple accupressure mechanism helps me manage nausea and queasiness without drugs! I used them following surgery and did not experience any post-anesthesia nausea. My college-aged daughter recommends them to friends to help with post-party illness. I sometimes think that there is a bit of a Pixie Dust factor to them (you have to believe that they will work, but hey--attitude helps a lot of things.) A fellow teacher suffers from chronic migraines, and one day either the migraine or the medicine she was taking for her headache left her feeling severely nauseated, so I lent her the set of sea bands I keep in my purse. At the end of the day she told me they had helped her tremendously. Whenever I travel now I carry several sets so that I can distribute them to any family members who might need them. I put on my pair as a preventative for any car trip lasting over an hour.
